A hidden gem in the area. Storefront looks a bit rundown but inside is nice and welcoming. Clean environment and decor. Sushi was flavourful and reasonably sized portions. The sauce on the udon dishes had a sweet kick to it and chicken was perfectly grilled. The vegetable tempuras were not oily and greasy. Service was quick as it wasn't too busy at the time. Would try their sushi platters next time for take out. Average to slightly higher on pricing but good for the overall quality.
This is really and truly a hidden gem. The quality of food and service is incredibly good. Coming here has me not really wanting to eat sushi from other places. It’s my new favourite sushi lunch spot even though it’s not really close to home. It’s worth the travel!!! The prices are also very reasonable especially considering the high quality.
If you told me one of my best sushi dining was going to happen at the corner of Ellesmere & Pharmacy at a plaza, I'd think you crazy! But the experience my wife and I just had was phenomenal. First of all the hot Sake was maybe the finest we have ever had. Then the sushi for me and bulgogi for her were excellent. So fresh and so wonderful, I had to try a few more pieces a la carte after dinner! Unbelievable find! Try this place!
Hands down the best and most authentic japanese restaurant in Scarborough! Their food made me feel that I was in Japan again! The taste is very authentic and service is top notch!
Great authentic Sushi! This will be my family's new place to get quality fresh sushi. Everything was just the best. I must recommend the Green Dragon Roll to newcomers and long time sushi lovers. The miso soup that is given as an appetizer is very tasty. The people were very nice, and even gave us free juice (which was very tasty,) for moving our table for a bigger party. Overall a 5/5 experience.
The food from here is sooo good, this is my new go to sushi spot, the staff are soo friendly and nice and the sushi & sashimi are always on point!
Sushi was incredibly delicious, and the service was outstanding! They were very kind, even though we arrived close to closing time, and they accommodated us beautifully. This will be my go-to sushi place from now on
I didn’t expect to find a place with superb quality fish in Scarborough but happy that I was proved wrong! All the dishes that we had were so good and the prices during lunch are reasonable. When my partner and I stepped in at around lunch it was empty, not even 10 mins later it was packed. Everyone who works here has done a great job with creating a welcoming environment.
